DESIGN FOR PERFORMANCE

Zachary is a maximalist costume designer specialising in large ensembles. They are deeply committed to fostering a safe, collaborative design process and advocate for performers to feel confident using costume as a tool for character development. Their practice is responsive to individual needs, with strong consideration for gender affirmation, neurodiverse sensibilities, and plus-size bodies. Open and transparent dialogue is central to their success in creating holistic, socially conscious design. As a Production Designer, Zachary builds immersive worlds through the integration of set and costume.
