BIO

  

Zachary Dixon (He/They) is a Naarm/Melbourne based Director, Actor, and Designer. In 2016, they graduated from Federation University Arts Academy with a Bachelor of Arts (Acting). Their director credits include Law & Order – PTV (Sevenfold), Music (Talking Candle), Spring Awakening (Sevenfold), Heathers The Musical (Out of The Wings), Buyer & Cellar (Sevenfold), Theatre Blacks (SPUNK Collective), Pride and Prejudice (24 Carrot Productions) and Shields, Heels and Tactical Vomiting. In 2019, Zachary founded Sevenfold Theatre Company as the Artistic Director focusing on the development of theatre makers and new works. Zachary values building strong relationships with artists collaborating on ensemble pieces of theatre.


Zachary is a freelance Production Designer, their credits include Much Ado About Nothing (Sevenfold), Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare in the Suburbs) and No More Silence (Wordsmith Theatre). They have worked as a costume designer for Federation University, these credits include The Northern Lass, A Woman of No Importance, Comedy of Errors, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Blue Stockings, The Time is Not Yet Ripe, Three Sisters and As You Like It.
